The only downside to using glass tanks rather than plastic ones is their vulnerability to breaking if dropped. Aspire answered this problem with the metal casing that encompasses and therefore protects the glass from potential damage. Although the glass can still break if dropped or sat on, it is much more resistant to damage than pure glass tanks without the metal casing.
